It's no secret that there is a fair number of affluent people residing in South Florida. You see evidence of this in the ever-increasing high-end condo buildings in downtown Miami, up to the oceanfront high-value residences in Palm Beach. The number of exotic cars casually passing through many cities in the region also provides further evidence of this.
It's no surprise that luxury goods retailers have a strong presence in the region and continue to expand to ensure they remain easily accessible to their customers. When the average price of your products exceeds a certain amount, it helps to make the shopping experience as convenient as you can.
Miami shoppers who enjoy the exclusive experience of high-jewelry shopping now have a great new option. YAFA Signed Jewels opened a new boutique at Miami's Bal Harbour Shops, a top location for luxury shopping in Miami. It is the rare vintage jewelry purveyor's third location and its most ambitious retail project yet.

Residents of Miami no longer need to endure the drive to Palm Beach's Worth Avenue to get their hands on YAFA's gems. The new location joins the brand's flagship boutique on Worth Avenue (which we visited not long ago) and its private-client salon on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
Founded more than 40 years ago by Yafa Moradof and her son, Maurice Moradof, YAFA began as a supplier of rare signed jewels to many of the world's best-known high jewelry brands. Now led by Tyler Moradof, Maurice's son, the family-run business has built a reputation for sourcing museum-quality vintage signed jewelry from the 20th and 21st centuries.
Buying high jewelry should be an experience that ensures complete comfort, an atmosphere where customers won't be in a hurry to leave. As you take in the new retail outlet, it is easy to see that YAFA understands this.

The 3,000-square-foot Bal Harbour Shops boutique is on the second floor. It has a modern aesthetic and subtle Art Deco accents inspired by Miami's architectural character. The space is intended to feel more like a hotel suite than a traditional store. Collectors will be welcomed into quiet sophistication, where jewels are presented as works of art and clients receive a tailored, high-touch experience.
The new boutique also reflects growing demand from clients in Miami and the greater Latin American region. Taking cues from YAFA's Palm Beach location, the Bal Harbour space will offer personalized guidance from client advisors, including insight into the history and significance of each jewel.
To keep things even more interesting, many rare pieces will be available exclusively at the new boutique, including a 20-carat pink diamond, rare mystery-set creations by Van Cleef & Arpels, and a deep green diamond.

YAFA Signed Jewels is known for curating signed vintage and modern pieces, including works by Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Harry Winston, David Webb, and other renowned jewelry houses.
The opening of the Bal Harbour Shops space marks a significant milestone for the brand as it continues to expand its physical retail presence for collectors seeking the finest rare pieces.
