NATIONAL JEWELER: Yafa Signed Jewels to Open Store in Miami

Yafa Signed Jewels to Open Store in Miami

The vintage signed jewelry retailer chose Miami due to growing client demand in the city and the greater Latin American region.

Yafa Signed Jewels’ latest store is in the Bal Harbour Shops at 9700 Collins Ave. in Bal Harbour, Florida. Yafa deals in vintage jewelry, like this 1949 Van Cleef & Arpels necklace featuring more than 200 carats of diamonds and these Van Cleef & Arpels earrings from the 1960s.

Miami—Yafa Signed Jewels, a retailer of vintage signed jewelry, announced it will be opening a location in Miami on March 13. The store is on the second floor of the Bal Harbour Shops at 9700 Collins Ave. in Bal Harbour, Florida, a village in Miami-Dade County.

Yafa said it will be the only retailer of signed vintage jewels in the shopping center. With more than 3,000 square feet, the space was designed to have a modern aesthetic, with the Art Deco accents a nod to Miami’s architecture.

According to Yafa, the store was designed to feel more like a luxury hotel suite rather than a traditional store, inviting collectors into an atmosphere of “quiet sophistication.”

“Bal Harbour Shops attracts an international clientele of collectors and has evolved into one of the country’s most desirable shopping destinations,” said Tyler Moradof, principal of Yafa.

“As we continue growing our physical retail presence, we remain committed to creating spaces that are refined yet inviting; this new location will be a clear reflection of that.”

The Miami store will be Yafa’s third location, joining its flagship store in Palm Beach, Florida, and private client salon on New York City’s Fifth Avenue. The retailer said it chose Miami for this store because of growing client demand in the city and greater Latin American region.

“The decision to open in Miami was an organic one,” said Maurice Moradof, CEO and co-founder of Yafa. “There is hardly a week that goes by that we aren’t visited by clients who live in or frequent the Miami area.”
