CHAUMET Diamond Amethyst Bead Necklace Earrings Suite in 18k Yellow Gold.

A festoon necklace and pair of complementary earrings by Chaumet dating from the 1980s, featuring amethysts and organically roped gold motifs throughout. The double row of graduated amethyst beads on the necklace are separated by diamond rondelles. Gathering each side is an organically-sculpted form depicting twisted rope, continuing into voluminous hand-sculpted links. The on-the-ear clips mirror the twisted gold design and surround oval purple amethyst cabochons, accented by a row of diamonds.

Necklace diamond weight approx. 4.00 carats total. Inner circumference measures approx. 19", outer length approx. 21". Chain measures approx. 0.30" in width, 0.25" in height. Two rope motifs measure approx. 1.35" in length, 1.35" in width, 0.40" in height. Beads range approx. 10 to 13mm in diameter. Spring ring closure.

Ear clip diamond weight approx. 0.35 carats total. Measures approx. 1.40" in length, 1.10" in width, height of the ear ranging from 0.25" to 0.50". Each oval cabochon measures approx. 16mm x 14mm. Ear clips are currently for non-pierced ears, however, posts can be added for pierced ears. Removable silicon padding has been added to the clips for comfort.
