Contemporary Ceylon Sapphire Diamond Ring 10.64 cts in Platinum.

An east-west oval-shaped unheated sapphire originating in Sri Lanka with a gorgeous blue velvet color, set among step-cut white diamonds and bright white platinum, which both allow the colored gem to emerge. The halo configuration of the white diamonds in the ring reflects a bit of Deco style with its geometric and tiered patterning, making this a contemporary halo solitaire with a strong nod to the past.

Sapphire weight approx. 10.64 carats. Sapphire appears to have no heat treatment, nor clarity enhancement. Measures approx. 0.70" in width tapering to a band of 0.08" at thinnest point, approx. 0.47" in height off the finger. Currently fits a US size 7; can be resized.
