YAFA Signed Jewels Debuts New Boutique at Bal Harbour Shops
YAFA Signed Jewels has opened a new boutique at Bal Harbour Shops, marking the brand’s third location and its first expansion into Miami retail.
Founded more than 40 years ago by Yafa Moradof and her son Maurice Moradof, the family-run company has built a reputation for sourcing rare signed vintage jewelry and museum-quality pieces for collectors around the world. Before expanding into retail, YAFA operated as a supplier of rare signed jewelry to major jewelry houses and private collectors. The new Miami boutique joins YAFA’s flagship on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach and its private client salon in New York City.
Located on the second floor of Bal Harbour Shops, the 3,000-square-foot space was designed with modern interiors and subtle Art Deco influences inspired by Miami architecture. The boutique was created to feel more like a private luxury residence than a traditional jewelry store.
“The decision to open in Miami was an organic one,” said Maurice Moradof, CEO and Co-Founder of YAFA. “There is hardly a week that goes by that we aren’t visited by clients that live in or frequent the Miami area.”
The opening comes as demand from Miami and Latin American collectors continues to grow. YAFA says the Bal Harbour location will feature several exclusive pieces, including a 20-carat pink diamond, mystery-set creations by Van Cleef & Arpels, and a deep green diamond.
Principal Tyler Moradof said the company sees Bal Harbour Shops as a natural fit for its next phase of growth.
“Bal Harbour Shops attracts an international clientele of collectors and has evolved into one of the country’s most desirable shopping destinations,” he said. “As we continue growing our physical retail presence, we remain committed to creating spaces that are refined yet inviting.”
