YAFA Celebrates its Bal Harbour Opening With Museum Quality Jewelry and Glamour
YAFA opens its newest boutique in Bal Harbour Shops, bringing the brand’s esteemed legacy to Miami’s evolving luxury landscape.
For more than four decades, YAFA has built an esteemed reputation for sourcing museum-quality, vintage signed jewelry and some of the most sought-after pieces on the market.
Now, with the opening of its newest boutique at Bal Harbour Shops, the family-owned company is bringing the brand’s esteemed legacy to Miami’s evolving luxury landscape. For founder Maurice Moradof, the latest opening represents a natural evolution for a company.

“With our Worth Avenue boutique in Palm Beach, we receive visitors from Miami almost every weekend,” shares Maurice Moradof, co- founder of YAFA. “The inevitable question was always, ‘Why aren’t you in Miami?’” Additionally, the Bal Harbour Shops is a singularly unique destination; the combination of a very sophisticated and international audience is the right fit for us, and we couldn’t be happier.”
With every piece selected with the same attention as a museum curator, Yafa’s selections resonate with today’s collectors who seek individuality.
“Over the last decade, there has been an incredible amount of education around signed vintage jewelry. Sophisticated buyers want rarity today, and with the correct signed, vintage items, that’s where you can get it,” Moradof notes. “Consumers are also more aware than ever that these truly are appreciating assets that retain their value year over year, and that there’s often a level of craftsmanship that simply cannot be replicated today.”
Inside the 3,000-square-foot Bal Harbour boutique, YAFA’s enduring philosophy is showcased in exceptional detail. The space, designed less like a traditional jewelry store and more like a luxurious private residence, invites clients to discover pieces in an intimate and personal environment. Among the museum-quality pieces are a 50-carat-plus Kashmir sapphire ring, an exceptionally rare stone.

“The search for rarity, no matter if it's a $15,000 item or a $150,000 item. Our clients seem tired of seeing the same item that they purchased on others when they go out,” Moradof shares.
With Miami becoming a booming hub for art and luxury, the energy and the city itself offer the brand something new and align with its enduring philosophy.
Inviting guests to shop exceptional jewels currently on display, YAFA remains committed to extraordinary acquisitions that have defined the company for the past four decades.
