A magnificent, vibrant sapphire of Sri Lankan origin set the east-west direction. The gemstone is a hue of vivid, intense, velvet-like blue and has no indication of any heat treatment. In addition, the gem has no clarity enhancement which makes this natural gem the more rare and outstanding. The ring's side details feature an Art-Nouveau-style ribbon of platinum with peppered white round diamonds set in varying tiers.

Sapphire weight approx. 14.67 carats. Diamond weight approx. 0.50 carats total. Measures approx. 0.60" in width by 0.85" at top; with a height of approx 0.40" off the finger. Currently fits a size US 5.5; can be resized.
