Contemporary Sapphire Diamond Detachable Drop Earrings in Platinum.

A classic pair of drop on-the-ear clips featuring round faceted sapphires with pear-shaped sapphires, surrounded with halos of graduated round brilliant diamonds. The depth of indigo in the rubies is starkly contrasted with the white gems, allowing the color to emerge with incredible saturation. In addition, the lower portion of these drop earrings are detachable so that the earrings can also be worn as studs.

Sapphires are Ceylon of Sri Lankan origin, with heat treatment. Round sapphires weigh approx. 8.35 carats total. Pear-shapes sapphires weigh approx. 21.75 carats total. Diamond weight approx. 12.00 carats total. Top portion of earrings measure approx. 0.75" in diameter, with detachable 1" jewel in length. Total earring measures approx. 1.75" in length, 0.80 at widest point and 0.30" in height off the ear. Ear clips are currently for non-pierced ears, however, posts can be added for pierced ears.
