David Webb Faceted Rock Crystal 'Couture' Necklace
This necklace by David Webb is magical. It is crafted with carved rock crystal: from the Greek krystallos or "ice" refers to colorless quartz. Rock crystal was utilized in rings, pins, pendants and bracelets during the Art Deco period in particular, and is a hallmark of houses such as David Webb to this day.
Suspending a detachable rock crystal pendant, with circular-cut diamond and sculpted 18k white gold detail, to the necklace designed as a series of faceted rock crystal hoops with circular-cut diamond and sculpted white gold detail, joined by gold links and mounted in 18k white gold and platinum.
